I help business owners understand their financial position and prepare for a transaction, so that the financial questions do not hold up your work.
Where I help your clients
- Selling. The sale readiness review shows how a buyer will see the business, an indicative value range (not a formal valuation) and a 12-month plan, from £2,699. Sale readiness review.
- Financial health before a deal. The financial, business and due diligence review tests earnings, cash and the balance sheet and checks the client's own records against the accounts, from £2,199. Financial, business and due diligence review.
- Buying. The acquisition financial check looks at the target's accounts before the client commits. Acquisition financial check.
- Funding the deal. The business loan review and a business cash flow forecast show a lender or investor what the money does.
What I leave with you
I do not give legal advice, tax advice, formal valuations or personal financial advice. I do not draft or review contracts and I do not act in the transaction. I prepare the financial analysis and your client takes it to you and their other advisers.
Fees and referral
I do not pay introducer fees to solicitors or corporate advisers. Your client pays me directly and the fee is fixed in writing.
Standing and confidentiality
I am an ICAEW Chartered Accountant with a practising certificate, bound by the ICAEW Code of Ethics, with professional indemnity insurance. Your client deals with me directly and the engagement letter is between me and the client. Nothing is shared back to you without the client's agreement, and an NDA is available on request.
