I prepare the financial information your client needs for the application, in the lender's format, so the numbers agree the first time.
What a lender's credit team gets
- Right first time. Monthly cash flow, the low point and headroom, debt service cover, tax on the right dates and a downside case.
- Your template or the bank's. I complete a bank's or broker's own cash-flow template from the same model, so every figure agrees.
- Start Up Loans packs, complete. Plan, cash-flow template and personal survival budget.
- Every assumption written out, so your client, or you, can see how each figure is built.
The business loan review
The bank-ready pack for loan and overdraft applications: up to five years of accounts analysed, a 13-week and a 36-month business cash flow forecast, facility headroom, stress tests, borrowing capacity and a two-page credit-style summary, from £1,449. See the business loan review.
Before the application goes in
There is a checklist you can send to a client at the bottom of the main introducer page.
Fees and referral
I do not pay introducer fees to finance brokers. Your client pays me directly and the fee is fixed in writing. I do not give financial advice, I do not recommend lenders, and I never approach your clients about anything else.
Standing and confidentiality
I am an ICAEW Chartered Accountant with a practising certificate, bound by the ICAEW Code of Ethics, with professional indemnity insurance. Your client deals with me directly and the engagement letter is between me and the client. Nothing is shared back to you without the client's agreement, and an NDA is available on request.
