Proprietary business intelligence analysis, built by a Chartered Accountant
Premium is an option on four of my services. It sets your business against comparable UK businesses and in its sector, regional and local context, then explains what that means in plain English. It is included in Premium, so there is nothing separate to buy.
What Premium adds
- Peer benchmarking. Your business set against comparable UK businesses by sector, size and region.
- Sector and regional risk context. What the sector and your region mean for the risks a lender or investor will weigh.
- Industry search-trend analysis. Demand trends for your sector.
- Local market and competitor picture, where relevant to the question.
- Plain English. All of it interpreted by a Chartered Accountant, not left as a table of figures.
- A short methodology note in the report, so the comparison can be read and challenged.
Everything in the standard service
- Prepared personally by me, a Chartered Accountant
- A fixed fee agreed in writing before any work starts
- First draft within 5 working days, then two rounds of changes
- The Excel workbook behind the document, where the standard service includes one
- Confidential under the ICAEW Code of Ethics, with a signed NDA if you want one
Premium fees
The standard fee is shown for comparison. Premium fees are fixed in writing before I start.
| Service | Standard (winter offer, then) | Premium | Charities and CICs, Premium |

There is no Premium version of the plan or forecast check. What takes a quote above a “from” price is the same as for the standard service, and I explain it on the page for each service.
About Premium
What is Premium?
Premium is an option on my financial and business analysis, business cash flow forecasts, business plans and feasibility studies: proprietary business intelligence analysis, built by a Chartered Accountant. I benchmark your business against comparable UK businesses by sector, size and region, add sector and regional risk context, industry search-trend analysis (demand trends for your sector) and, where it is relevant, the local market and competitor picture. I interpret it all in plain English, and the report includes a short methodology note.
Is Premium a separate product?
No. It is included in Premium, as an option on the service you are already considering. You get the standard document, plus the benchmarking and context above, in the same report.
Which services have a Premium option?
Financial and business analysis, business cash flow forecasts, business plans and feasibility studies. There is no Premium version of the plan or forecast check.
How long does it take?
The first draft arrives within 5 working days of you accepting the quote, as with the standard service.
What does the methodology note say?
It is a short note in the report explaining how the comparison was made and how to read it, so you and any lender or investor can see what the benchmarking does and does not show.
Is there a charity rate?
Yes. Registered charities (including CIOs) and community interest companies pay half or less for Premium too: £469, £489, from £709 and from £1,119 respectively.
